Policymakers and educational institutions can play a role by providing better financial education, more affordable tuition options, and increased support for students facing financial difficulties. These efforts can complement the emphasis on personal responsibility, creating a more balanced approach to managing student debt.
While students should indeed be responsible for their own debts, this responsibility must be accompanied by a broader understanding of the challenges and support systems in place.
