Cook the Gnocchi: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add gnocchi and cook until they float, about 2-3 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to transfer gnocchi into the sauce.
Assemble and Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Transfer gnocchi and sauce to a baking dish. Top with mozzarella and bake for 10-12 minutes, until bubbly. Broil for a few minutes for a golden top.
Serve: Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
