peppermint and place them around strategic entrances.

Baking soda

Sprinkle baking soda in areas where mouse droppings or other signs of mice are present.

Once ingested, this ingredient prevents the gas produced inside the animal from being released,

thus causing his death.

If you have a pet, put the baking soda in a container with a hole in it, so they can’t get to it.

Bars of soap

Producing the same effect as peppermint, scented soaps help to keep

rodents away and act as a perfect repellent. Simply place them around doors, windows and all possible openings.

Other tips

– Clean up your yards and gardens by removing piles of wood and old tires which can be real nests for rodents.

– If you have animals like rabbits, chickens or horses,

Put them in a rodent-proof enclosure and clean their shelters regularly.

– Don’t leave food lying around.

– Raise trash cans off the ground more than 30 centimeters.

– Grow plants in your gardens that repel rodents, such as crown imperial, eucalyptus or peppermint.

– Having a cat at home is a great help in getting rid of rodents,

since they are real predators who often find pleasure in exterminating them to play with them, without actually eating them.

However, a risk of poisoning the cat can quickly arise if the mouse has ingested a toxic product.
