Mint is a diuretic herb that helps eliminate toxins accumulated in the body. It’s rich in plant fiber, which regulates intestinal transit and prevents constipation. Mint also contains tannins, bitter compounds that promote bile production and speed up digestion.
Juice recipe for weight loss
Ingredients:
1 lemon
, 2 small cucumbers,
3 cm ginger root (inch size),
10 fresh mint leaves
, 700 ml water
Instructions:
Trim the ends of the cucumbers, peel them (or wash them thoroughly with water and baking soda if you want to preserve the skin), and cut them into small pieces.
Peel the ginger root and cut them into small pieces.
Halve the lemon and squeeze the juice from each half. Use a sieve to avoid seeds.
Remove the mint leaves from the stem.
In a blender, add the cucumber pieces, ginger, lemon juice, and mint leaves.
Add 700 ml of water and blend until smooth.
Strain the resulting juice through a sieve and pour into a glass jug or bottle.
Every night before bed, put a few ice cubes and one or two lemon slices in a glass and pour in the juice. Drink it immediately.
