A Career and Life Marked by Controversy
As her fame grew, so did the controversies surrounding her. After her tumultuous relationship with her American husband, Lyn May found love again with businessman Antonio Chi Su. The couple married in 1989 and opened a Chinese restaurant in Mexico City. However, in 2004, Chi Su was diagnosed with prostate cancer and passed away in 2008. Overwhelmed by grief, Lyn May admitted in a shocking interview that she had exhumed her husband’s body and brought it home, sleeping beside his remains. She eventually let him go, but this revelation stunned her fans and the public.
Lyn May also claimed to have had an affair with a former President of Mexico, though she never disclosed his identity. Speculation suggests it could have been José López Portillo, who was rumored to have relationships with other actresses. Lyn continued to make headlines with her bold statements and provocative behavior, including announcing at the age of 68 that she was pregnant with her 29-year-old fiancé, Markos D1. However, it was later revealed that this was a publicity stunt for her farewell tour, further demonstrating Lyn May’s knack for staying in the limelight.
