Even biological twins experience life together.
Twin sisters Brittany and Briana Deane are from Salt Lake City, Utah. Brittany and Briana spent a lot of time together, as do many sets of twins. They had similar interests, dressed similarly, and attended the same schools.
“Most of our life’s milestones have been shared,” Briana said. “Age milestones, first driving permit, graduation.” And instead of attempting to differentiate themselves, the twins played the similarity game and still saw themselves as “two halves of a whole” today.
“Brides of Culture”
As a kind of “twin culture,” Brittany and Briana really enjoy losing themselves in it. Instagram users may mistakenly believe they are seeing a reflection of themselves as they browse through their feed. They even go to extremes like going on “double dates” (a term for when two people wear the same type of clothing and have the same haircut).
Because of how close they were, the twins intended to remain housemates as adults! It was unthinkable to them that they would ever be apart. “We’ve achieved so much as a team,” Brittany said. Although it’s simple to grow up as twins, maintaining that bond as adults is a whole other ballgame…
One common dream is to get married to one of one’s twin brothers.
