This essential oil is also used in many other traditional remedies, due to its powerful antibacterial, antioxidant and antifungal properties. Celal Bayar, the famous Turkish university, did a study on the effects of wild thyme on breast cancer cells. At the end of the study, they found that wild thyme is a very promising candidate in the development of new therapeutic drugs for the cure of breast cancer.
To use the essential oil optimally, dilute a few drops in a carrier oil. Then apply the mixture with your finger to the back of the palate and near the affected area. Since this oil is very powerful, dilution is highly recommended.
To consume it, simply put 1 or 2 drops on a spoonful of honey.
