Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
24 oz marinara sauce
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups cottage cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
16 oz spaghetti noodles, cooked al dente
Salt and pepper, to taste
Non-stick cooking spray
Directions:
Brown the ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet. Drain fat and mix in marinara sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
Blend cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
Grease the slow cooker with non-stick spray.
Layer meat sauce, followed by spaghetti, then the cheese mixture in the slow cooker. Repeat layers.
Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
Cook on LOW for 4 hours.
Let it sit for 20 minutes before serving.
Variations & Tips:
For extra flavor, add sliced mushrooms or black olives.
For a vegetarian version, replace beef with sautéed spinach or zucchini.
For a lighter dish, use low-fat dairy products and lean ground turkey.
Gluten-free pasta can be substituted for those with dietary restrictions.
