4. Gradually pour in 3 cups of milk while stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Continue to cook and stir until the gravy thickens and reaches your desired consistency.
5. Season gravy with salt and pe. Stir well to combine.
Once the sausage gravy has thickened and is seasoned to your liking, remove it from the heat.
