The day had started out like any other — a long list of things to do, errands to run, and emails to respond to. By mid-afternoon, I found myself standing in the kitchen, feeling a bit overwhelmed. My mind was buzzing, my shoulders tense, and even though the day was far from over, I just needed a moment to breathe.
As I glanced around the kitchen, my eyes landed on a small bundle of rosemary and thyme sitting on the counter, freshly picked from my little garden. Instantly, I felt inspired. These herbs, often added to savory dishes, suddenly called to me in a different way.
I filled the kettle, and while the water heated, I crushed the thyme and rosemary between my fingers, their fresh, earthy scent already lifting my mood.
