Introduction:
Looking for a nutritious and satisfying treat after your meal? This high-protein dessert is the answer! Packed with ingredients that support muscle recovery and overall health, it’s the perfect balance of indulgence and nourishment. Whether you’re finishing a workout or just want something healthy yet delicious, this treat will quickly become your favorite.
Ingredients:
1 cup Greek yogurt (unsweetened)
2 tablespoons protein powder (your choice of flavor)
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/4 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Directions:
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, protein powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of cinnamon. Stir until everything is well blended.
Add the chia seeds and mix them in thoroughly. These will help thicken the mixture and add extra fiber.
If you’d like a touch of sweetness, drizzle in some honey or maple syrup and stir.
Top the yogurt mixture with the mixed berries, arranging them evenly.
Let the mixture sit for about 5-10 minutes for the chia seeds to soften and expand, or refrigerate for an hour if you prefer it chilled.
Serve immediately, or store for later!
