Twins are rare, occurring at around 33 per 1,000 births, though their prevalence has increased by 72% since 1980. Even among twins, identical pairings are uncommon: just three or four sets of identical siblings are estimated to be born in every thousand births.
Savannah Combs was ecstatic when she discovered she was expecting twins, even if the news had a twist: both kids had Down Syndrome. Savannah’s passion for her new family remained unaffected by the increased task.
