Traditional Pea Salad

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, plus additional to taste
- 4 cups frozen peas, thawed
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 medium red onion, finely diced
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine sour cream, mayo, sugar, apple cider vinegar, and salt, whisking until well blended.
- Add peas, crumbled bacon, diced onion, and cheddar cheese to the bowl. Gently stir to ensure even coating in the dressing.
- Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld. Optionally, garnish with additional crispy bacon before serving. Enjoy!
