Another very effective trick consists in preparing a real silverfish trap .
Pour some oat flakes into a jar, which you will then wrap with tape.
The starch in the oat flakes will attract insects, which will climb onto the jar to enter, but from which they will no longer be able to exit, slipping on the glass.
If you can spot a silverfish nest, just pour a little ethyl alcohol on it to eliminate it.
Remember that silverfish like humid places, so if possible, put some baking soda in a jar so it can absorb some moisture.
