Preparing Medicinal Garlic Honey
Ingredients:
- 1 whole bulb of garlic
- Organic bee honey (ensure it is of good quality, without glucose additives)
Preparation Steps:
- Peel and chop the garlic cloves to activate allicin, the active ingredient in garlic.
- Place the chopped garlic in a clean jar.
- Cover the garlic fully with honey. Pour slowly to allow the honey to seep into the crevices of the chopped garlic.
- Use a knife or toothpick to release any trapped air bubbles.
- Close the jar tightly, label it with the current date, and allow it to macerate in a cupboard for 2 to 4 weeks.
