Rather than relying on these color marks, here are some tips for choosing your toothpaste:
Read the list of ingredients, paying attention to active agents like fluoride, that protect against cavities.
Focus on certifications, such as organic labels or recommendations from recognised dental organisations.
Avoid certain components, such as sulphates (SLS) or triclosan, if you are looking for a softer formula.
