Alternative Methods for Cleaning and Degreasing
If you don’t have coffee grounds, try these natural alternatives:
Peanut Oil Method
Clean and dry the pan
Apply a thin layer of peanut oil
Heat the pan on the stove for 1 minute
Let it cool, then wash with a soft sponge
Repeat every 6 months to maintain the coating.
Coconut Oil and Oven Method
Heat the pan on the stove briefly
Coat the outside with coconut oil
Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F)
Bake the pan for 2 hours
Let cool, then wash
This helps seal and restore the non-stick layer.
Vinegar and Baking Soda Solution
Pour 250 ml of water into the pan
Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda
Add 125 ml of white vinegar
Let it fizz, then simmer on low heat for 10 minutes
Pour out the liquid and dry completely
Great for removing stubborn residue and grease naturally.
