Barrier: The olive oil forms a slick barrier on top of the mixture. If flies or mosquitoes enter the trap (especially through the holes in the plastic wrap, if used), they get trapped by the oil, which prevents them from escaping by clogging their wings and restricting their movement.
Notes:
Safety: This trap is safe to use around the home and poses no harm to pets or children. However, ensure it’s placed out of reach if there are concerns about spills.
Maintenance: Check and replace the trap mixture every few days or if it becomes overly full of insects.

Placement: For best results, place the trap in a warm, shaded area where flies and mosquitoes are commonly seen.
