Cheesy Baguette Boats with Minced Meat, Havarti, and Herbs
These cheesy baguette boats are the perfect combination of crispy bread, savory minced meat, melty Havarti cheese, and aromatic herbs. They’re great for a quick meal, party appetizer, or a comforting snack.
Ingredients:
2 medium baguettes
300g (10 oz) ground beef or pork (or a mix)
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and black pepper, to taste
150g (5 oz) Havarti cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 egg (optional, for a creamier filling)
¼ cup sour cream or heavy cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
1 tablespoon butter (to brush the baguettes)
