Actress Candace Cameron Bure has expressed her disappointment and sadness over the Paris Olympics opening ceremony, which she believes mocked the Christian faith. The ceremony featured a representation of the Last Supper, which Bure, a devout Christian, found offensive.
Bure shared her thoughts on Instagram, stating that while she respects the Olympics and knows several athletes, this year’s ceremony made her “so sad.” She encouraged her followers to continue sharing the gospel and not grow tired of doing good.

Anne Descamps, a spokesperson for the Olympics, apologized to those who took offense, stating that there was no intention to show disrespect.
