The bathroom is one of the areas of the house where we usually spend more time cleaning, especially if limestone, mold and hardened soap have taken possession of some surfaces. If you can’t eliminate this type of stains with classic industrial cleaners and you want to avoid using bleach, try applying one of the following tricks with white vinegar.
You will surely have noticed that the bathroom gets dirty more easily, due to the large amounts of germs and bacteria that accumulates every day. Daily soap use and abundant moisture can also make stains, even mold, showing the bathroom a wicked appearance.
Intestinal bacteria are microorganisms that can jump on any surface of the bathroom, from tiles to doors, from handles to faucets, from toothbrush to towels. But it is the toilet that accumulates the most, and for this it should be cleaned daily.
White vinegar to clean the toilet
If you want to eliminate brown and limescale stains from the toilet and make sure you get rid of all the bacteria, just spray a little white vinegar over its entire surface.
Leave on for 20-30 minutes, then rub well with a toothbrush or sponge and rinse. Finally, pull the flush. In addition to being disinfectant, white vinegar is also very powerful against brown spots.
Clean the tiles with white vinegar
Over time the bathroom tiles tend to become opaque, due to the accumulation of soap and mushroom residues. Returning their original brilliance to them is as simple as it is economical: white vinegar is enough.
Mix 250 ml of white vinegar with 150 ml of water and pours into a splash. Spray the solution over the entire surface of the tiles and, after 15 minutes, rub well with a sponge.
