Introduction
These Fabulous and Super Easy Cookies have been my favorite recipe for years. Despite being so simple to make, they always make a splash. They’re perfect for any occasion, from a family get-together to a late-night treat. The best part is, even my 10-year-old daughter makes them all by herself! If you’ve never tried them, it’s time you did! A delicious, quick, and hassle-free dessert.
Ingredients
200g butter, at room temperature
1 cup sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract and continue beating until well combined.
Sift the flour with the baking powder and salt, and add it little by little to the previous mixture.
Mix until you get a smooth dough. If desired, add chocolate chips or any other additional ingredients.
Form small balls with your hands and place them on the baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden around the edges.
Let cool on a wire rack before enjoying.
