To revitalize your orchid and promote vigorous growth with sturdy roots, follow this traditional Asian method:

- Prepare the Orchid: Clean the orchid’s roots and remove it from the soil. Trim all roots using scissors, and remove excess leaves, leaving only the central stem intact.
- Garlic Treatment: Crush garlic in a mortar and place it at the bottom of a glass container. Add water to the garlic, filter it into another container, and pour about one-third into a glass. Place the orchid in the glass, ensuring it’s submerged in the garlic juice for about 20 minutes.
- Planting Process: Dry the orchid in an empty jar. Cut the top of a plastic bottle to create a plastic cup. Position the bottle’s neck at the bottom of the jar. Insert the orchid’s root into the bottle’s neck, ensuring minimal water contact. The water evaporates gradually, maintaining optimal humidity.
- Maintenance: Steam the orchid in the bottle with water every two days. Within a month, expect new roots and healthy leaves to emerge.
