How to Make Oven-Dried Strawberries
Ingredients
✔ 1 pound (500g) fresh strawberries
✔ Parchment paper (for easy cleanup)
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 200°F (95°C). A low temperature is key to drying the strawberries properly without burning them.
2️⃣ Prepare the strawberries – Wash and dry them thoroughly. Remove the green tops and slice them evenly into thin slices (about 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick). The thinner the slices, the quicker they dry.
3️⃣ Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out the strawberry slices in a single layer. Make sure they don’t overlap so they dry evenly.
4️⃣ Bake for 3 hours – Place the tray in the oven and let the strawberries slowly dry out. Keep the oven door slightly open to allow moisture to escape.
