Cloves are already well-known, although they are primarily utilized in sweets, particularly those with fruit. Banana and pumpkin sweets, for example, invariably include a tinge of clove.
However, it is used around the world to season far more than just sweets. Cloves can be used to flavor preserves, sauces (pure or tucked into an onion with a bay leaf), vegetables, cheeses, rice, and even meats.
But, in addition to adding taste to your recipes, cloves have a number of health benefits. After all, it’s not surprising that they’ve been used medicinally for thousands of years.
1. Clove promotes bl00d circulation.
The oil derived from cloves improves blood flow, which benefits the whole body. Furthermore, by aiding in blood purification, your skin will receive more nourishment and your immune system will be better prepared.
2. Clove is a natural pain reliever and antiseptic.
Eugenol, a natural antibacterial contained in cloves, helps erase acne scars, regulate skin health, and prevent the appearance of wrinkles. Clove tea can also help with headaches, menstrual cramps, fevers, toothaches, and sore throats.
