They’ve noticed a pattern of individuals tying ribbons and wires around car door handles, signaling potentially dangerous intentions. The issue gained attention after a video shared by user Ice.Lemon.Water showed a parked car with a string wrapped around its driver’s door handle, sparking shock and concern about possible kidnapping attempts.
Further insight into the trend came from another TikTok user, Reece, known as AChunkyGuy, who explained that wires are used because they’re harder to remove, prolonging the distraction for the car owner. This tactic aims to create a vulnerable moment, allowing potential abductors to approach unnoticed and carry out their sinister plans.
