Preparation Steps

1. Crafting the Dough

  • Sift the Flour: Start by sifting 450 g of flour into a large mixing bowl. This helps aerate the flour and remove any lumps, resulting in a smoother dough.

  • Incorporate Wet Ingredients: Gradually pour 250 ml of Coca-Cola and 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil into the dry mixture. The Coca-Cola will add a subtle sweetness and moisture to the dough.
  • Knead the Dough: Mix everything together until a dough forms. Then knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes soft, smooth, and non-sticky. If the dough is too sticky, add a bit more flour; if it’s too dry, add a splash more Coca-Cola.

  • Grease a Bowl: Lightly grease a clean bowl with oil.

  • Roll Out the Dough: Roll each piece into thin, oval-shaped cakes. This will make it easier to shape the bread.
