They were an “ordinary” couple, like those you might encounter every day. Everything was going well. However, an event would transform their relationship, and it would not go as planned. Thomas didn’t see his partner Iris often because the insurance agent worked far from home.

A couple who were in a long-distance relationship

The young man felt partly guilty about leaving his wife alone at home all week. For several years, he saved everything he could so that Iris could live carefree. Fortunately for him, she was always understanding of her husband and supported his work. The couple still decided to get married despite the distance and saw each other mainly on weekends.
