A Mysterious Delivery

An unknown caller informed me there was a parcel waiting for me outside. They insisted I come alone to retrieve it. Intrigued but cautious, I excused myself from the party and stepped out onto the porch. A delivery man stood there, holding a heavy box wrapped in plain brown paper.
