Start by removing dust and dirt from the baseboards with a vacuum brush. You can also use a broom to do the job. If you’re using a mop, combine it with a microfiber cloth.
Next, take a bucket and fill it with water and liquid detergent or Marseille soap.
Dip a cloth in the cleaning solution and wipe down the baseboards.
You can also pour the mixture into a spray bottle and spray it on the cloth to avoid dirtying the walls. Next, clean the dirty baseboards and use a cotton swab to reach hard-to-reach corners.
Finish cleaning with a few passes with a dry cloth to remove excess water that could warp the baseboards.
