Steps to Prepare Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Preparing the Sprouts
Clean and Cut: Wash the Brussels sprouts thoroughly under cold water. Remove any damaged outer leaves and cut them in half for even cooking.
Season: In a large bowl, toss the sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Make sure each piece is well coated.
Roasting
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). A high temperature is essential for perfect caramelization.
Arrange on a Baking Sheet: Spread the sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Avoid crowding them so they cook evenly.
Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning the sprouts halfway through to brown them on all sides.
Finishing Touch
Add Lemon Juice: Just before serving, sprinkle the sprouts with lemon juice for a fresh, tangy touch that enhances the flavors.
