Ingredients:
8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
200g cream cheese (Philadelphia type)
100g thinly sliced raw ham
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the chicken thighs:
Take the chicken thighs and open them like a book to get a flat surface.
Lightly pound the chicken thighs to make them thinner and more uniform, using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
Lightly salt and pepper the chicken thighs on both sides.
Prepare the filling:
In a skillet, heat a little olive oil and add the chopped onion and garlic.
Cook until the onion is translucent and tender.
Add the chopped prosciutto and cook for a few minutes.
Turn off the heat and let cool slightly.
