How to clean travertine marble . This type of marble used in floors or bathrooms requires special treatments. It tends to have moisture stains that appear due to mold or soap residue, which end up soaking into the surface.

To keep marble clean and shiny, use a soft-bristled brush to remove soap residue and mold. Dampen the brush with warm water and rub lightly on the marble. Then wipe with a damp cloth with warm water and neutral soap. Dry thoroughly.

Cleaning white marble . It is usually used in the kitchen, and for this reason it tends to stain easily. To clean white marble, rub half a lemon on the stain and leave it to act for a few seconds. Then clean with water and vinegar. It is likely that you will need to repeat the treatment several times. Wipe with a dry cloth.
