Ingredients:
1 egg
200 g wheat flour
150 ml milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
pinch of salt
oil for frying
Preparation method:
In a bowl, mix the egg, milk, sugar and vanilla sugar.
Add the sifted flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix everything thoroughly until you get a uniform mass with the consistency of pancake batter.
Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. You can check the temperature by putting a piece of dough in – if it starts to fry immediately, the oil is ready.
Use a spoon to drop the dough into the heated oil, forming donuts. Fry them until golden brown on both sides.
After frying, drain the donuts on paper towels to get rid of excess fat.
