If you’ve ever burnt a pot or pan, you know how frustrating it can be to clean it. Luckily, there’s an effective and economical solution that costs about 1 euro: baking soda. Here’s how to use it to restore your cookware to its former glory!
Cleaning Encrusted Pans and Pots
Method 1: Baking Soda Scrub
Sprinkle Baking Soda: Generously cover the bottom of the dirty pan with baking soda. Avoid diluting it in water.
Wait: Allow the baking soda to sit for about 30 minutes.
Scrub: Use an abrasive sponge or metal scraper to scrub the encrusted areas.
Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with water.
Method 2: Baking Soda, Vinegar, and Lemon Juice for the Exterior
Mix Ingredients: Combine 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice to create a paste.
Apply Paste: Rub the mixture onto the outside of the pots and pans.
Wipe Clean: The grime will come off easily.
