2 cups of heavy cream (preferably fresh and organic)
A pinch of salt (optional)

How to Make Butter at Home:
Method 1: Shake It in a Jar
Pour heavy cream into a clean jar, filling it only halfway.
Seal the lid tightly and start shaking vigorously.
After about 10 minutes, the cream will thicken into whipped cream. Keep shaking until it separates into butter and buttermilk.
